Vehicle Stills for Wrecked Streets

Wrecks, tanks and emergency vehicles to fill an empty road or turn a street into a war zone: destroyed cars for crash and battle scenes, emergency vehicles for the response, plus helicopters and tanks. Line a road with them for an abandoned highway or a gridlocked evacuation.

Category information

Which resolution should I pick?

Wreck damage lives in the details: crumpled panels, burned paint, glass hanging from a frame. For a car near the lens, take one of the larger PNGs (they reach 8K) so that damage survives scrutiny.

How to composite a vehicle still

Match the angle: if your plate shows the roofs of parked cars, choose a vehicle photographed from above as well.
Darken the narrow gap between each tire and the road, where almost no light reaches, so the car has weight.
Fake a reflection: lay a blurred, flipped copy of the plate over the windows, masked to the glass, at 10 to 20% opacity.
When something has to drive or fly through the shot, switch to filmed vehicle VFX.
